Sketchy

(March 2026)

I love a good drawing and here at the Gallery we have had some skillfully rendered drawings of many sorts. In addition to this I have been asked so many times for people to see my sketchbooks. For many reasons they are magical places of exploration and development and there is a grave misconception that a sketchbook has to be a beautifully instagrammable thing, when honestly, most of my sketchbooks are filled with the good, the bad, the ugly, the gorgeous…I still love it all and all of the bits and thoughts and ideas it holds becomes something in some way.

Therefore, in addition to wall hung drawn works, I would like to plinth a number of sketchbooks and let people see behind the curtain a little and give them a taste of the art process behind the art. Submitting a sketchbook for this exhibition is optional.

Show us your drawings and your sketchbooks and let’s show everyone how SKETCHY we can be!
